My friends and I dined here for my Birthday and let me tell you it DID NOT disappoint. The Filet, the sides, the drinks were all on point. Loved the Mobster plush red decor. Highly recommend

Yikes! Where do I start?!
From the mildew basement smell to the insensitive manager, it was tragic.
My significant other took me there because we were both feeling steak and were sadly disappointed. They tucked us in a corner and we awkwardly whispered talked because how silent it was. The bathrooms smelled horrible, I left one bathroom to go to another but they were both bad.
The food was not to par with its prices, definitely overpriced. I ordered the rack of lamb with crispy goose fat potatoes and my date ordered the 14oz ribeye with creamed spinach. Everything tasted okay, but nothing special. A little way into our meal I started to have an allergic reaction, my tongue and lips started to get itchy and swell so I immediately took some bendrayl. (I'm deathly allergic to shellfish to the point where my throat will close) Because I wasn't having direct symptoms, we asked if maybe something touched the potatoes or the same oil was used for something with shellfish. My parents have a restaurant so I understand how easy it is to mix things up or use the same glove. The manager made it a point to ask if I was allergic to garlic and thyme because those were the only ingredients used and later in a condescending tone asked if I needed him to call an ambulance because they was nothing wrong with my meal. It was so unbelievably rude so we just asked the check and left.
Honestly save your coins and go somewhere else, we loveeeee The Smith or Dorado Tacos and Quesadillas (on the same block). The steak quesadilla was so good!!! -

Pricey steakhouse but it has a nice old school charm. It's a bit cramped inside with your neighboring tables but that is new york for you. Very dark ambiance so it's a place to wow a client but i would say necessarily a date since its cramped.
The go to dish here is the bone in strip or the aged bone in rib eye. Wonderful tender flavor with a nice pepper and salt crust. The oyster appetizers were also great 6 east/ 6 west. Wonderful of the sea flavor. I'd forgo the sides as none of them stood out and you can save a few bucks. The dessert of the night had to be the layer chocolate cake. Large portion which was enough to serve 4. Had to take it home as there were leftovers.
It's a pricey place but the steak was spot on. -

We ate in the speakeasy... Super cool atmosphere.... Not your typical steakhouse vibe. Motown tunes all night. Order a Manhattan. Steak is good... Not the best I've had...but decent. We need to discuss the broccoli....it is to die! I can't stop thinking about it. Yum! The goose fat potatoes were overrated in my opinion.

The best date night we have had in years!!
Please - sit at the bar and dine with Eddie, you will be in for an event of a lifetime.
Eddie is the best and took amazing care of us, he set up our spot with a gorgeous bouquet of flowers, made the best Manhattan's, poured us amazing Champagne, we got the Bone in Filet and Aged NY Strip with Truffle Gnocchi paired with an amazing Pinot Noir, followed by a delicious chocolate lava cake on the house!
We can not wait to come back!!
